Why We Exist?

Diesel was diagnosed with Addison’s disease before his first birthday. More autoimmune conditions followed. After years of complex care, his life ended suddenly.

Diesel’s FootPrint was born from his medical journey of navigating multiple chronic illnesses all this life. Founded in July 2025 by Certified Dog Trainer Kaajal Tiwary, the organization exists for families caring for a chronically ill dog or cat, so the cost of care never forces them to choose between treatment and keeping their pet home.

Diesel’s FootPrint prioritizes equitable access to care, ethical and humane practices, and caregiver empowerment. We recognize that when families are supported with education, guidance, and resources, pets experience better outcomes and families remain intact during medical crises.
